St. Joseph Parish Festival - May 4
St. Joseph 28th Annual Parish Festival will be celebrated Sunday, May 4, at St. Anthony Pavilion and Grounds on Tabor Road in Bryan.  We begin at 11:00am with a BBQ Dinner, live and silent auctions, a variety of food items, a raffle, kids games and fun-filled activities for the entire family. Everyone is invited!

2008 Knights of Columbus Scholarships - May 5
Knights of Columbus Council 11759 is now accepting applications for the 2008 K. of C. Scholarships.  This year we will be awarding nine scholarships of $1000 each.  In order to be eligible for one of these scholarships you must be a graduating high school senior who is a registered member of St. Joseph Church.  You must have been accepted to an accredited college or university as a full time student.  The applications are available online or at the Church office.  The application must be returned to the church office no later than 5:00pm on May 5, 2008.  If you have questions concerning the  application you may contact the Chairman of the Scholarship Committee, Charles Gilliland at 979.845.2080.

Mother/Daughter Luncheon May 10
Following Mary's Footsteps... Becoming Women of Virtue is the theme for the Mother/Daughter Luncheon which will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Activity Center from 11:00am-1:30pm.  It will feature guest speaker Janelle Reinhart.  Janell is a Christian singer/songwriter/speaker who has sung for Pope John Paul II and Queen Elizabeth II, and has opened for Michael W. Smith.  She sang the official theme song at World Youth Day 2002 in Toronto.  Her three CD releases have been smash hits and have won many awards, including three Artist of the Year and one Album of the Year.  Tickets are on sale now for $16 per person at all the church offices.  Deadline for ticket purchase is Friday, May 2.  Questions?  Please contact Marilisa Carney at 776-1682 or Patty Veazy at 764-7598.  Sponsored by the B/CS Regnum Christi Team.

May Crowning - May 11
Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be held at the 8:30am Mass.  If your child would like to participate in the Mass, please call the Religious Education Office at 823-5558 or email lstoremski@stjosephbcs.org.

Graduation 2008 - May 18
St. Joseph Parish wishes to honor all our high school seniors.  All graduating High School Seniors of St. Joseph Parish are cordially invited to a Mass of Thanksgiving in your honor at 11:30am on Sunday, May 18 at St. Joseph Church.  A luncheon in your honor will follow at the Parish Activity Center.  The luncheon is  hosted by St. Joseph Women's Guild and is for the graduates and their immediate family.  Graduates please wear your cap and gown to Mass.  Please call in the number attending the Luncheon to the Church Office at 822-2721 no later than May 12.
