Women's Guild - March 11
St. Joseph Women's guild will meet at 7:00pm in the PAC. The
program will be presented by the Bryan Fire Department. Light
refreshments will be served. All ladies of the parish are invited
to attend. Members, please bring your volunteer hours form to the
meeting to be submitted to the Diocese. You can also turn the
forms in to the church office.
Fish Fry - March 12
The St. Joseph School Elementary Campus will host the Knights of
Columbus Fish Fry in the PAC from 5:00-7:30pm. Dine in and Take
Out orders are available for those that do not want to cook! It
will be a good start to Spring break. Plates are $8 which
include fish, coleslaw, french fries, hush puppies, dessert and a
drink. Tickets are available in the school and church
offices. All proceeds from the fish fry will go toward moving the
flag pole to the new front of the elementary school.
B/CS RealLife Group -
March 13
Join the B/CS RealLife graduate student and young adult group for Mass
and Dinner. Our mission is to shared the Christian Gospel in a
Catholic Tradition to Texas A&M graduate students and Bryan/College
Station area young professionals. We start off the evening with
Mass at St. Anthony Church in Bryan on W. 29th Street, meeting in
the front courtyard just outside the main entrance at 4:45pm.
After Mass, we will eat at Casa Rodriguez in Downtown Bryan at
6:45pm. Join us for all of the evening or whatever fits with your
schedule - it'll be a fun night you won't want to miss! For more

Claude Rosier Benefit -
March 20
Everyone is invited to a benefit for Claude Rosier at Kurten Community
Center from 4:00-10:00pm. Claude, a member of St. Joseph church,
has been in the hospital since October 21, 2009 diagnosed with Mantel
Cell Lymphoma. there will be a Bar-B-Que dinner, a live and
silent auction and a raffle. To purchase raffle or meal tickets
in advance, call 775-7752 (Bayer Electric). His wife, Patricia,
children Robyn, Paige, Kristina, and Josh thank you in advance for your
prayers and support.
Mass of Welcome for Bishop Joe S. Vasquez -
March 22
The Mass of Welcome for Bishop Joe S. Vasquez for our area is Monday,
March 22 at St. Mary Catholic Center in College Station at 7:00 p.m.
Everyone is invited to welcome our new Bishop for the Diocese of Austin.
Spring Scout Mass - March
27
A Scout Recognition Mass will be held at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic
Church. The Area Wide Mass is for all Scouts who has earned
Religious Emblems since September 2009 and for all Boy Scout Eagle,
Girl Scout Gold and Venture Crew Silver Awards earned since May
2008. The deadline for Religious Emblem Applications and Board of
Reviews is March 8. Eagle, Gold ans Silver recipients can request
recognitions at www.scouting.austindiocese.org.

Men Knowing Christ - April 9-11
Join other Catholic men of St. Joseph Parish at Holy Family Retreat
Center (Rye Loop Road in Brazos County) as we share our knowledge of
Christ. This weekend promises to be a special time for men of the
parish to grow in their faith with spiritual enrichment. The
Retreat
begins Friday, April 9 at 7:00pm and will end Sunday, April 11 with
Mass at 12:00 noon. You will need to bring your Bible, Rosary,
Bedding
and Toiletries. Eat before you come on Friday. Snacks
available
Friday night - all other meals will be provided. Registration Fee
is

St. Joseph Church Garage
Sale - April 10
The Annual Garage Sale will be on Saturday, April 10 at the Bryan
Ballroom (corner of Groesbeck and Palasota Drive). Our garage
sales
are always successful, so please start saving your items now.
Instructions for drop-off at eh location will come later. Please
store
the items somewhere at your home as we do not have storage space here
at the church.

Festival - May 2
Preparations are being made for our 30th Annual Parish Festival. Hoping
it will be our Biggest and Best Festival ever! Mark your calendar
and plan on being there to celebrate with your Parish Family!
Knights of
Columbus Scholarship Applications - due May 3
Knights of Columbus Scholarship Applications are available
online. Each year, the Knights provide scholarships for a number
of graduating high school seniors who are members of St. Joseph Parish
or the child or grandchild of members of St. Joseph Knights of Columbus
Council 11759. Scholarships are available to all accredited high
school students meeting the above requirements. The deadline for
applying is Monday, May 3, 2010. Applications may be submitted at the
Church office.
