Sacrament of Marriage
Anyone who desires to receive the
Sacrament of Marriage should make an appointment with either one of the
priests or deacons to begin the process. At this first meeting,
each couple will be asked to:
- Complete and sign the PRENUPTIAL QUESTIONNAIRE.
- Sign the AFFIDAVIT OF FREE STATUS.
- Sign, if necessary, the required DISPENSATIONS.
- Also, Catholics must provide a BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE that
has been issued in the past 6 months. This can be obtained
simply by contacting the parish in
which you were baptized and
requesting an updated baptismal certificate with notations. For
Converts, a PROFESSION OF FAITH
CERTIFICATE is needed.
