Anyone who desires to receive the Sacrament of Marriage should make an appointment with either one of the priests or deacons to begin the process. At this first meeting, each couple will be asked to:
Complete and sign the PRENUPTIAL QUESTIONNAIRE.
Sign the AFFIDAVIT OF FREE STATUS.
Sign, if necessary, the required DISPENSATIONS.
Also, Catholics must provide a BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE that has been issued in the past 6 months. This can be obtained simply by contacting the parish in which you were baptized and requesting an updated baptismal certificate with notations. For Converts, a PROFESSION OF FAITH CERTIFICATE is needed.

REQUIRED REFLECTION WEEKEND - “TOGETHER IN GOD’S LOVE” - The Diocesan Marriage Preparation Program takes place on scheduled Saturdays at St. Joseph Parish Activity Center located at 700 East 26th St. in Bryan. The day begins at 8 a.m. An hour break is provided for lunch between noon - 1 p.m. The session concludes at 5 p.m.
